Namoi Valley Archers
Namoi Valley Archers is an insured affiliate of Field Archery Australia offering archers access to three field archery disciplines, the ABA national round (unmarked distances), International Field Archery Association rounds (marked distances), and ABA 3D round (unmarked distances). The club caters for all styles of archery within these disciplines with divisions for adult male/female, junior male/female (13 to 17 years) and cub male/female (under 13 years) with members having access to Regional, State, National and International competition.
The club offers free use of equipment to beginners and has qualified coaches available to offer assistance at no charge to interested members of the public. Age range of club membership is from five years to 60 plus. Correct matching of equipment allows all archers to compete evenly regardless of physical strength. Field archery courses are set in natural bush settings so competitors are required to walk approximately 2km during the course of a round.
