Lake Keepit Soaring Club
The sport of gliding sailplanes is called 'soaring' or 'gliding'. Modern sailplanes make soaring flight possible allowing humans to fly higher, faster and farther than the greatest of birds, using only an invisible force of nature to stay aloft.
Flying at Lake Keepit includes local soaring, cross country flying and competition flying (speed racing).
The Lake Keepit Soaring Club operates 7 days per week. Club activities are held each weekend. Midweek training and flights are available.
Visitors and pilots of all ages and skill levels are catered for. Joyflights, trial instructional flghts and pilot training are available from club instructors in two seater gliders.
Joyflight gift vouchers may be purchased year-round.
