The Gunnedah District Development Board (GDDB) welcomes all individuals and businesses to have an interest in the local business community. Current membership ranges from large manufacturing businesses to small owner-operated concerns and individuals.


Who leads the GDDB?
The members run the GDDB. Each year they elect a voluntary Management Committee from our Members to determine policies and set goals. The Management Committee in turn, elects an Executive of Office Bearers.

A Voice for the Gunnedah Community
The GDDB is involved in representing the business community on a number of committees including;

* Crime Prevention
* Business Partner Program
* Community Scholarship Fund
* Cultural Precinct
* Main Street Management
* Mining Community Consultative Committees
* Liquor Licensing Accord


What activities are the GDDB involved in?

• The Management Committee meet monthly with Gunnedah Shire Council to discuss issues that affect the Gunnedah business community
• The GDDB coordinates and presents the Gunnedah Business and Service Awards
• Regular networking breakfasts with keynote speakers are held for Members
• Presentation of a variety of seminars each year on topics ranging from business management to staff development.
• Investigating and promoting the opportunities associated with Tourism within the Region
• Co-Ordination of the Try a Trade Days for Secondary students in Gunnedah, Narrabri & Quirindi
